Sandy is passionate in her support of all businesses and truly believes that business coaching is very effective and that coaching has a real part to play in improving both an individual’s and organisation’s performance. Business coaching is a series of one-on-one meetings and coaching enables Executives, Business owners, Directors and Management Teams:
- To think through situations as the coach uses techniques to facilitate clear thinking.
- To focus on particular personal development areas over a period of time such as developing leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, motivational techniques, etc
- To break out of old, redundant ways of thinking as the coach challenges them to take new approaches
- To become more aware of their behaviour as managers and leaders and so enable themselves to improve on their approaches, and communicate more effectively to their peers
- To keep going! The coach provides support and accountability to their clients. Coaching has been shown to dramatically reduce work-place stress.
A recent survey found that more than 90 per cent of HR professionals believe that coaching, when used properly, positively influences an organisation’s bottom line. Other studies have demonstrated how, following training alone, productivity increases by 22 per cent, but after training and coaching it increases by 88 per cent.
